What I Need to do

Well I got my number theory test back.  I got a 92, not too bad.  So my grades are 98, 92, and an 82 for homeworks...which averages out to a 90.66 or so.  Not bad at all.  I just have to do better on my next homework assignments and get an A on the last test and I should be good.

I need to start working more on my pre-capstone class.  I've been lazy with it and that's not good.  I have to do more background work and storyboard work.

Sociology is going well.  I got 100s on both tests and I've been handing in all my essays.  I have 2 essays left.  I've started the reading for the first, so I should get that done this week and I'll do the second essay next week.  I should be fine for the last test.

I missed flash class on Monday, but I emailed the professor my homework assignment Sunday night.  He hasn't gotten back to me yet.  I'll email him again to see if he got it.  We are going to be working on portfolios in class.  That should be fun.  I could use a new porfolio for my site.

And last, but not least, drawing for motion class.  Shoot, I can't remember if we had homework.  I should have wrote it down.  I don't think so though because she canceled next week's class.  I have my final paper topic for class.  I'm writing about identity.  It should be interesting.  I'll start this paper as soon as I'm done with both my sociology papers.  One paper at a time, that's the way to go.

So that's the plan for the rest of this semester.  I have lots of work I need to get done, but most of it is fun.  Next semester is my last.  I did my advising yesterday.  I have 3 courses I am taking next semester:  capstone, statisics and integrated science.  My classes are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.  That gives me Mondays and Fridays off, so I can use those days for capstone work.

Getting a Blog
Mood:  a-ok

Hey everyone!  I was told to get a blog by Tom Krieglstein who spoke at the National Society of Leadership and Success speaker event last night.  It was an interesting topic about how to use social networks, like facebook, to your advantage.  I already have my own website and I do post my animations on my facebook and youtube account for others to see.  I am trying to use the internet to get my work out there.  I want it to reach possible employeers so I have a chance at getting a job doing what I love.  I will try to use all the social networks to my advantage and not just for socializing with friends and playing games....even though those facebook apps are a lot of fun.

I have Number Theory class today.  I will be getting my test back that I took last class.  I studied really hard, so I hope it paid off.  I know I messed up one definition, but otherwise I think I did pretty good.  We will see how it goes.

For my senior thesis project, or capstone as they call it at Bloomfield College, I am doing an animation involving a skipper larva and a southern leopard frog tadpole.  It is set in the New Jersey Meadowlands.  I have a lot of work left to do with the backgrounds and figuring out the style.  I also have to clean up my story boards.  They are very rough right now.  I need to make them pretty and understandable.

I guess that's all for now.  More to come soon.
